Dr. Araujo (Howard University) will discuss her new book, "Reparations for Slavery and the Slave Trade‚ÄĚ (Bloomsbury) and reflect on current public history debates over the meaning of Confederate memorials and over how the long term legacies of slavery and the slave trade should best be acknowledged.¬†

After the presentation, Dr. Araujo will sign copies of her book, available for purchase.
