Jake Sadilek

MSU Museum Store & Special Events Student Employee
Psychology Major
Economics Minor

Originally from Chesaning, Michigan, Jake is in his junior year at Michigan State University. He chose to attend MSU because of the beautiful landscape and many of his family members graduated from MSU. He is a student in the Honors College majoring in psychology and minoring in economics. He has been working as a student employee in the MSU Museum Store for over a year. The position at the MSU Museum Store appealed to him because of his love of museums. His favorite exhibit at the MSU Museum is the current exhibit in the Main Gallery, “War and Speech: Propaganda, Patriotism, and Dissent in the Great War” he said that he has learned a lot about recruitment tacks during WWI from the exhibit. In addition to Jake's work in the Museum Store, he also assists with special events at the Museum.

Jake anticipates that after graduation he will work as counselor, but his dream job is doing something entrepreneurial or artistic as he had been playing guitar since sixth grade.
