We’re in the auto business. We make metal stampings and we sell them to most car companies, certainly all the domestic car companies. And 2008–09 when GM and Chrysler were facing bankruptcy, it had a tremendous effect on our company.

We almost called it quits. The employees worked for half wages for a while, and for a month everybody went with no pay—more than a month. And here we are in 2012; we’ve bought six new pieces of machinery similar to the ones I’m going to show you on the shop floor. They will arrive in December and January. Our company is twice as big as it was before the downturn, and so you can tell by the smile on my face that business is pretty good.
