Kapoli is the most widespread and most commonly seen of all gule characters. He does not wear a carved mask, but instead covers his head in feathers. He is a jovial observer of the community, and generally opens any gule wamkulu event. Kapoli is a friend of the women, and will identify issues of mistreatment of women in the village. He sings in a high pitched voice.
