Redwork coverlet with embroidered designs including Kate Greenaway, sprays of flowers, Mother Goose, and a pair of owls in each corner.

Harding purchased the quilt in 1997 from Arlington, Texas dealers. They had found it at an auction in Worcester, Massachusetts. It was from the home of a 90 year old woman who brought some of her laces and linens to sell every year. This was what she brought in 1996. It is believed to have been made by someone in her family.
