The redwork designs include birds, horses, cow, flowers, roosters,
camels, elk, church, cat, children, teapot. Some of the images are
repeated. One of the camel blocks is not stitched entirely.
The elk design may signify the fraternal order of the elks. The
rooster may symbolize Democrats. The rooster was used as a Democratic
symbol in the 1880's-90's. The designs are stamped linens.
Harding found the quilt in Pennsylvania.
