The center block says "God Bless Our Home". It is above a house block. Numerous blocks are captioned, including "Thoughts of you", "Sweet Memory", "Old Friends", "Old Faithful", and "Good Morning". Over 20 of the block designs are of floweres, other designs are domestic and farm animals and there are 3 Sunbonnet day of the week designs. Eight designs are repeated.

Some of the designs are from Ladies Art Co., Home Beautiful catalogue, and Webber's Illustrated Catalogue of Stamping patterns.

The seams between the blocks are embroidered in red floss with a herringbone stitch. Harding theorizes that at least 2 different people worked on the embroidery.
