Registering a quilt is simple. To request an inventory form, simply email (quilts@museum.msu.edu) or call the Great Lakes Quilt Center (517/432-3800) or download a form here. Fill out the form, attach a photograph of the quilt and if possible, of the quilter. Include any ephemera and mail to:

Once the form is returned to the GLQC it will be assigned a number and the data will be entered into a computerized system. You will be sent an acknowledgement letter with your quilt’s assigned number. In the future we will include a tag, pre-printed with that number, for you to sew on to the back of your quilt.
