Museum Studies
Marybeth Marsh is a cultural collections intern at the MSU Museum, originally from Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, Marybeth is in her Junior year at Michigan State University. Her internship is focused on assisting with cataloging and rehousing the apparel and textile collection. Marybeth was interested in an internship at the MSU Museum because of the opportunity to better understand how museum collections are cared for and housed. Her favorite part of her internship is getting to work hands-on with historical garments and learning more about them.
After graduation, Marybeth would like to direct a museum that has an interactive exhibit where people can learn about historic garments. In her free time Marybeth enjoys going to sporting events on campus and serving as the vice president of the MSU Fiber Art Club.
